The Long Beach Patriots’ mission is to not only foster opportunities for underserved youth in the sport of football but to administer foundational support; something that is needed to strengthen their chances of becoming productive contributors to society outside the realm of football. In addition to teaching the basics of the g ame, the Long Beach Patriots emphasize the importance of academics and community involvement, as part of a dynamic experience for their young athletes and how that can translate to success on and off the field.
If granted with a safe place to play football, allotted access to mentors and coaches who believe in them, they can only thrive and beat those odds. Alongside those important life skills cultivated, positive and healthy behavioral modification is enforced because character is built upon higher grounds of expectations and agreements. Each participant is not only held accountable for their grades and fitness, but mutual respect, accountability, and time management. These tools are highly taken into account so as to reach individual and communal goals. Everyone is uplifted by the methods taught because parents are obligated to be part of the yards gained in the territory of the success of their child.
The Long Beach Patriots supplement the efforts of the parents, as we treat each child with the prestige and honor an NFL player receives by traveling beyond their dreams to compete with other youth leagues in the most prestigious stadiums in the United States.
